zooey d.

{via}

can i please have zooey d's hair??
k thanks :).

recently i got myself some bangs, and my hair is the same color, so im kinda close.
&& i also have naturally curly hair.
so you might be thinking, well then you have zooey's hair!

yea, well its not that easy.
you see, when i scrunch my hair with mouse, its TOO curly.
and when i try and curl it with a curling iron, its a total fail and falls flat in a minute.
so how do i achieve that optimal messy wavy look?
no idea.

and also.. i need like twice the amount of hair, because mines super thin and i cant have as thick of bangs as id like.

final step: buying the allison headband from busy bee lauren's etsy shop.
(being a broke college student hinders that. bah.)

*sighs*
one day..
one day....

....bangs are cute, but make me look very 5th grade (to me). They just sit there and wait for the wind to blow....and never straighten itself out after the fact. I just hate them on me. They look like on you, you're So Sandra Bullock, you favor so much in that picture!

hi new blog friend :).

i love zooey d. too! something that works for me in achieving curls (i have naturally curly hair too) is that i'll scrunch it and then i'll curl it later after it's dry. the curls seem to hold better that way...when i use a curling iron my curls fall flat too.

also....that is a wall clock in my picture. we just bought the kit at a craft store, but the numbers were ugly, so we bought these cardboard #'s there and painted them. we decided to do only 4 because i liked the look of it. so there you have it :).

I don't have a lot of hair either, so my bangs aren't very thick. I'd like them thicker, but what I've ended up doing is teasing the shit out of my hair.

Suggestion from one who has pretty much the same hair as you...only a different cut and color: shower at night, sleep on your hair wet, curl with a hot iron in the morning, and tousle Tigi S Factor Creamy Molding Wax in with your head upside down.

I'd pretty much swear by it.
